From Dream to Reality

The New Dutch Connections Foundation (NDC) believes in the talent, ambition, and experience of people with a refugee background. NDC inspires and engages others in realizing their future dreams, enabling them to contribute their talents to society. We create opportunities by giving their stories a platform, facilitating meetings, organizing inspiration sessions, and providing training.

Theater New Dutch Connections uses theater productions as a means to tell the real-life stories of refugees. This approach bridges the gap between society and new Dutch residents, bringing together people, organizations, and institutions that would otherwise rarely meet.

Empowerment Through our Future Academy (ToekomstAcademie) and empowerment programs, NDC trains newcomers to take control of their futures. We provide support for both professional development and personal growth, creating more opportunities in the job market for this group.

Network and Encounter Experience shows that networking is the key to success! It is essential to facilitate encounters between different people. For new Dutch residents building their lives, having a network—regardless of its size—is crucial. Networking and encounters are central themes in our events, productions, and training sessions.
